Arielle N. Shabazz, Easter Seals attendee

Arielle N. Shabazz, 22, of Smyrna, passed away suddenly and peacefully at Kent General Hospital, Friday, July 8, 2011.

Arielle was born Oct. 3, 1988, in Newark. She attended Kent County Community School and graduated in 2010 from Dover High School. She recently attended Easter Seals in Dover. She is survived by her loving mother, Elizabeth S. Brittingham and her husband, Monroe E. Brittingham Jr. of Lewes; her loving father, LTC Thomas M. Shabazz and his wife Frances Shabazz; two loving sisters, Kristin Shabazz and Megan Shabazz; brother Tyler Shabazz; loving and devoted foster parent, Lori Conlon of Smyrna; and two foster sisters Nycole and Andi Conlon. She is also survived by her grandparents, Thomas and Clara Tucker Sr.; four aunts and two uncles, Amelia and Alphonso Cook of Bear, Cassandra and Roland Weeden Sr. of Elkton, Md., Lisa Lindsay of Milton, and Donna Tucker-Hicks of Bear; two best friends, David Saboy and Crystal; very special teacher, Mary W.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
