Local artist Damon Pla announced the opening of his new studio and gallery in the Shops at the Pearl, 301 Rehoboth Ave., Rehoboth Beach.
Known for his meditative landscapes and surreal creations, Pla showcases his large acrylic paintings in the gallery, giving guests a chance to experience the depth and detail of his artistry.
High-quality reproductions on canvas and paper will also be available.
The space also will serve as a working studio, offering visitors an opportunity to witness Pla’s creative process.
“I’m grateful to open a space where people can experience my art and see firsthand how it’s produced,” said Pla. “For me, this gallery is more than just a space for displaying my paintings; it’s about engaging with others through the process of creation.”
Pla said his work blends the natural beauty of landscapes with surreal elements to evoke curiosity and wonder. “My goal is for each painting to tell a unique story. Drawing inspiration from the beauty of Delaware’s wetlands and the mysteries of the mind is my passion.”
