The Beacon boys’ basketball team took care of business Dec. 13, with a 46-24 win over Laurel Intermediate School. They move to 4-0 on the season.

Vikings eighth-grader Kihara Ngido led the Vikings with 14 points. Mikiah Jackson dropped nine, while Nathan Re scored eight. Nick Ryan tallied five. Grady Trivits, Jameson Pease, Aiden Crenshaw, Robbie Myers and Jace Reddix each hit a bucket.

"It was great to see the team apply what we practiced today,” said Beacon coach Sean O’Grady. “We emphasized limiting turnovers and playing under more control which they definitely did today."
