Botanical cyanotype canvas bag workshop set Feb. 5
The Rehoboth Art League will offer a botanical cyanotype canvas bag workshop from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 5.
Cyanotype is one of the oldest photographic processes as well as a printmaking process. It was developed in the 1800s as a way to create multiple copies in an easy and cost-efficient way, using UV light to create magical-looking blue works of art.
In this workshop, participants will learn the history of the form, and process and use botanical materials to create two magical canvas bags of their own. In addition to the registration fee of $60, there is a $35 supply fee payable to the instructor.
