Cantina Ultima to rebrand as The Dead Pig Tavern

August 28, 2019

Cantina Ultima in downtown Milton is undergoing a rebranding and concept change.

The restaurant, which hosted its final dinner as Cantina Ultima Aug. 9, will be reconceptualized as The Dead Pig Tavern, which will serve South Philly-style roast pork and beef with additional bar food, according to a post on the restaurant’s Facebook page. A new sign has already been posted at the 102 Federal St. location.

The Facebook post said the bar will continue to hold monthly beer dinners, with the next one on Sunday, Sept. 8. There will still be Taco Tuesdays, along with burrito nights and burger nights.

“We are not closing, just simply pushing into our next culinary adventures and branching out to work with the friends we have made since our landing here in Milton,” the post said. RYAN MAVITY PHOTO
