The Bucs tallied goals from Jacob Messick, Landon Hudson and Owen Peel. Milford freshman keeper Landen Hill made 26 saves in goal.

“Defensively, I thought we played well,” said Cape head coach Geoff Shupard. “Our offense did a better job of taking care of the ball, so I’m very happy with that. We still have some things to clean up, but the boys are working hard and moving in the right direction.”

The Cape JV squad moved to 9-1 with a 10-3 win over the JV Bucs.

The Vikings will host Smyrna Wednesday, May 17, before finishing the regular season at Sanford Thursday, May 18.
