Cape district phones, internet down

Several buildings affected as service provider works to resolve issue

As of 10:30 a.m., Oct. 20, the landline phones and internet are down at several buildings in the Cape Henlopen School District.

The buildings impacted include the the district office, Cape High, Frederick D. Thomas Middle School, the Fred Thomas Building and Lewes Elementary School.

According to the district, the service provider is currently working to fix the issue, which is rooted in a cut fiber line.
