Cape senior guard Ja’Onna Lee was on a mission in the Northern Division rivalry game with Sussex Tech Jan. 10, as she scored 18 points and snagged eight rebounds in the Vikings’ 58-22 victory.

Mya Maull and Faith Re chipped in 11 each, and teamed for eight rebounds and nine assists, six steals and a block.

Twin towers Hayden Hudson and Amalia Fruchtman teamed for 16 points, 18 rebounds and six blocks.

“It was a great crowd to play in front of tonight,” said Hudson. “They really came out to see two top teams play. We know that we are better as a team when we are playing together and supporting each other, and we did that in this game.”

“I told the team to lock out, lock in, lock up,” said Cape coach Pat Woods. “Lock out all the noise outside the line. Lock in and execute what we do. Lock up defensively. I thought we did that, and we played hard and played together. It’s nice that we don’t always know where the production is going to come from. They are so much fun to coach.”
