The chase commenced over the remaining 13 bouts, as the Seahawks, like gulls on the Rehoboth Boardwalk, just would not go away.
Cape won the match 42-33 with DMA breathing down their necks across all weight classes. The Vikings improved to 11-2 on the season.
There were nine total pins in the match. Earning pins for Cape were Bender (138), Finbar Rishko (152), Jackson Handlin (195) and Joshua Wright (113). DMA secured five pins.

The Vikings will host a powerful Smyrna squad Wednesday, Jan. 15, before competing in the Grapple at the Brook tournament Jan. 17-18, at Springbrook High School in Maryland.
