Capital Ringers Christmas performances to start Nov. 23

Celebrating 15 seasons on Delmarva, Capital Ringers will present its Ring Christmas Bells concerts this holiday season. 

Performances include such classics as “Winter Wonderland,” “Coventry Carol,” and the group’s exciting rendition of Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s “Wizards in Winter.”

Capital Ringers is renowned for its vast and varied repertoire of classic rock, jazz, patriotic, sacred, and top 40 music, along with traditional holiday favorites.

The nonprofit community English handbell ensemble was founded in 2004 by Linda Simms, artistic director. The group demonstrates the diversity of English handbells and handchimes, performed on the largest collection of these instruments on Delmarva.

Local performances will be at 7 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 23, at Reformation Lutheran Church, Milford; 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 30, at Bethel United Methodist Church, Lewes; 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7, at Eagle’s Nest Fellowship Church, Milton; 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 14, at Milton Theatre; and 6 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 14, at Conley’s United Methodist Church, Lewes.
