Catholic Charities seeks assistance to support those in need

Energy assistance applications due March 31
March 25, 2020

As the public health emergency continues, Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Wilmington remains fully committed to its mission of service to the needy and vulnerable in its communities.

During this time of great need, Catholic Charities invites the community to join in providing support and assistance to those in great need. Community members are asked to pray for staff, clients and the community as all work together to navigate this public health crisis.

Given the restrictions on in-person involvement, the need for financial donations is very critical and gratefully encouraged. All donations will directly support Catholic Charities programs and allow the organization to continue to provide vital services and assistance. Monetary donations may be mailed or made online at www.ccwilm.org/donate/donation-form/.

No outside visitors are allowed at Casa San Francisco in Milton. All group activities involving outside personnel have been suspended until further notice.

Delaware Energy Assistance Program client services remain available. Applications for heating assistance will be accepted through Tuesday, March 31, the final date for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program. To request assistance, submit completed application with required documents to Energy@ccwilm.org.

Immigration client services remain available. To request assistance, call 302-655-9624 to schedule an appointment, which will be conducted by telephone.
