Christopher Moody named administrator at Del Tech

New director of Corporate and Community Programs is from Milton

The Jack F. Owens Campus of Delaware Technical Community College in Georgetown announces that Christopher M. Moody of Milton is its new director of the Division of Corporate and Community Programs.

A college employee since 2002, he is a former math and reading instructor and department chair of developmental studies, providing leadership in educational technology.  He also served as the Learning Center supervisor and Teaching Resource Center coordinator.

He is currently a member of the Owens Campus Planning Council, budget committee, the Student Success Council and a steering committee for the college’s next accreditation. Most recently, he was assistant dean of instruction and served as the college’s liaison between multiple school districts and the state Division of Vocational Rehabilitation in support of student success and access.

Moody has been a member of the Dewey Beach Lions Club since 2002, serving as a board member, a finance committee member and as president in 2010. He was the organization’s liaison to the builder during the recent construction of the clubhouse and oversees the use of the facility.

A graduate of the college’s most recent Leadership Development Program, Moody is a candidate for a doctoral degree in educational leadership at the University of Delaware. He has an undergraduate degree in education from the University of Delaware and a master’s in educational technology from Wilmington University.
