Craig Levin Harmon, truck driver
Craig Levin Harmon, 57, of Harbeson passed away of a massive heart attack in the early hours of Monday, Oct. 25, 2021, at home.
Craig was born Friday, Dec. 27, 1963, having been named by the doctor who saved him and mom at Beebe Hospital in Lewes to parents John "Jack" Wesley Harmon (2007) and Thelma "Mom Sue" Virginia Morris Harmon (2012).
Craig was a truck driver for years and that was his true love. He was good with carpentry, learned from dad and friend, Greg Draine. He obtained a golf cart and delighted in riding around Pot-Nets, enjoying the many friends he met. He was a self-taught human being for the many tasks he accomplished. He was a loving brother, uncle and friend and was known to many as "Big Boy."
In addition to his parents, Craig was preceded in death by two brothers, William “Dickie” Harmon (1984) and Willis “Mickie” Harmon (2013).
Craig is survived by two sisters, Wandra “June” Harmon of Harbeson and Victoria “Vicky” Harmon of Georgetown; one sister, Tammy Morris of Millsboro; two uncles, Thomas Draine and Robert “Uncle Bob” Draine; three aunts, Vera Morris, Pastor Annie J. Custis and Dianne Draine Mumford; two nieces, Danielle Harmon (Danny/Buck) and Tamra Harmon-Burrow and her husband Mike; nephew, Willis “LG” Harmon; Uncle Michael “Mike” McKlimans and "Chico"; great-nephews John Brown Harmon, Mickey Burrows, Jax Burrows, Kelly Price Jr. and Jayden “Jay” Price; great-nieces, Tiana Trammell, Naomi (Nay) Brown-Harmon and J'aylah; other family members; Russell “Sam” Johns, Maurice “Reese” Tunnell, Lenard “Len” Morris, Kenny Daniel and Rachel, David Morris and Kaitlyn.
A memorial service to celebrate Craig's life will be held Saturday, Nov. 6 at noon, at St. John 2nd Baptist Church, 26602 Mt. Joy Road, Millsboro.
