A two-car crash slowed traffic Sept. 11 on northbound Route 1 south of Cave Neck Road.
The crash happened about 4:30 p.m. when a dark blue 2011 Honda CR-V collided with a gray 2022 Lexus RX. No injuries were reported in the crash, said Sr. Cpl. Leonard DeMalto of the Delaware State Police. The driver of the Honda, a 70-year-old man from Milton was cited for driving under the influence and failure to drive in the proper lane/direction.
