The Cape Elite Vikings football mini camp was held June 20-23 at the Cape Henlopen sports complex for kids 5-13. The mini camp, which preps players for the approaching fall season, includes conditioning, offensive drills and defensive drills. It teaches young players how to play the game before the actual season starts. Cheerleading coaches teach basic skills such as tumbling, cartwheels and cheers.

Officers for the Elite Vikings are Harry Hudson, president; Josh Pollard, vice president; Melissa Brown, secretary; Ashley Rego, football director; Nicole Shearman, concession/fundraiser; Larry Schrock, treasurer; Sarah Keane, cheerleading VP; and Sandi Katz, sponsor director.

The fall season is set to start Monday, July 25. For more information, go to Cape Elite Vikings on Facebook, email capeelitevikings@gmail.com or call 302-245-7088.
