Expanded Spring Home Expo draws record crowds

April 12, 2025

The 27th Annual Delaware Resorts Expos Spring Home Expo welcomed a steady stream of visitors April 5-6 at Cape Henlopen High School, making it one of the most successful events in the organizer’s history.

Doors opened Saturday morning to a crowd already gathered outside, greeted by an exhibitor’s display of beautiful spring flowers, shrubs and trees, and attendance remained strong throughout the weekend. Event founder and Director Kathy Benson estimated a turnout in excess of 2,000 people, who came to explore offerings from more than 150 exhibitors showcasing the latest in home-related products and services.

“This year’s exhibitor interest exceeded expectations,” said Benson. “We had so many vendors that we expanded into the Cape gymnasium for the first time, and the feedback from both exhibitors and visitors regarding the larger venue was overwhelmingly positive.”

Building on that momentum, Delaware Resorts Expos will return to Cape Henlopen High School for its Summer Living Expo, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, June 14 and 15.
