Michael Reade shared his encounter with a fawn near his Lewes home. “I had been following the activities of a newborn whitetail fawn these past few days from my window,” he said. “It has been discreetly hiding at the edge of the woods behind the house, darting out with its mom from time to time. Then with full confidence, it carefully ventured out of the high grass and made a solo foray to the pond's edge for a quenching sip of water before tucking itself back into the high brush. A real beauty!”
