The Gazette travels to Canada to experience the diverse culture and good friendship

October 20, 2017

Ron Tipton of Milton recently visited his good friend Pat Flynn who lives near Gore Park Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Here he is pictured at the park while reading his Gazette. Hamilton is a city of over 500,000. A former steel city that fell on hard times it now undergoing a rebirth as a millennial destination for many former residents of Toronto seeking relief from the density and high cost of living. “Hamilton is a ‘Goldilocks’ city; all the conveniences of a city and yet still retains a small town livability.” said Ron. “Hamilton reflects the diverse culture that is in Canada with many restaurants and activities, including a wonderful symphonic orchestra and Jackson Mall which includes a Nations Fresh Foods which serves all those cultures. I will be returning next year.”
