Geeks at the Beach to convene July 27

Geeks at the Beach will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, July 27, at Cape Henlopen High School in Lewes. The show is being presented by Asylum Convention and Entertainment Services, and sponsored by local comic shops, Ogre’s Grove of Milton and Comics and Gaming Bethany Beach.

Attendees can meet comic book artists, writers and publishers. Comics, collectibles, crafts and more will be available from vendors. Cantina Ultima will be selling walking tacos to eat while strolling around the convention.

Don’t forget to come in costume - a cosplay contest will take place at 3 p.m.

Tickets are $5 at the door. Attendees who bring a donation for Grass Roots Rescue will receive a discounted admission price of $3. Kids ages 12 and under are admitted free.

The first 50 people to arrive will receive a free exclusive print by one of the headlined artists, Aaron DeWyer.
