Gilman lacrosse beats Cape boys 16-7

The Cape boys’ lacrosse team lost 16-7 at The Gilman School of Maryland April 22.
The Vikings drop to 6-2 on the season. Gilman, playing the toughest schedule in the country, improves to 5-7.
Cape goal scorers were Luke Burton with three and Joe Coveleski, Jack Schell, C.J. Fritchman and Jayhden Cannon each with one.
Burton, Fritchman and Cody Trivits each had an assist.
Cape will host Caesar Rodney (7-2) at 7 p.m., Wednesday, April 26, then Smyrna (4-4) at 7 p.m., Friday, April 28.
Cape will play at Salesianum (5-2) at 7 p.m., Monday, May 1.
