The Greater Millsboro Kiwanis Club met April 13 at Millsboro Family Restaurant.
Guest speakers Brian Vanvestraut, Boy Scouts Sussex District executive, and Derby Hall, Millsboro Troop 89 leader, described their programs for both girls and boys.
The Scouts’ mission is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout oath and Scout law.
Kiwanis Club President Marianne Smith awarded Vanvestraut a certificate of appreciation for his work and presented Hall with the club’s $200 annual donation to Troop 89.
