Holiday events at Heidi Lowe Gallery to start Nov. 15

Heidi Lowe Gallery announced several upcoming holiday events.

The Earrings Galore Exhibition will open Monday, Nov. 15. A happy hour reception is set for 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 19 at the gallery at 17522 Ward Ave., Lewes. 

Opening in conjunction with New York City Jewelry Week, Earrings Galore is an exciting annual juried exhibition of a rich and diverse array of earrings made by emerging and established studio jewelers. Each artist’s unique approach to the earring will be represented in a cohesive grouping of earrings. The show is exploding with creativity and cool earring options.

The 7th Annual Dewey Sip and Shop will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday, Nov. 26, to Sunday, Nov. 28, on Dagsworthy Street, Dewey Beach. Lowe will bring a selection of her handmade jewelry to the Sip and Shop Saturday and Sunday. The Developing Artist Collaboration presents this holiday pop-up shop of 30 local artists exhibiting their art and handmade goods. There will be music, food trucks, complimentary beer and tote bags filled with local goodies.

The gallery will host a gemstone trunk show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 1, to Saturday, Dec. 4. Appointments are recommended but not required. The trunk show provides patrons, stone lovers and students the opportunity to handpick stones from a wide variety of unique, beautiful options that normally wouldn’t be available locally. The Heidi Lowe team also can set any stones into custom jewelry.
