Industry professionals join Atlantic Sands management team

November 15, 2010

The Atlantic Sands Hotel & Conference Center recently hired two hospitality industry professionals to increase revenues, solicit new business and ensure excellent customer satisfaction and retention.

Chuck Brush, formerly general manager at the Pocono Manor Golf Resort & Spa in Pocono Manor, Pa., has 20 years of experience in hotel operations and management. “I am looking forward to making a difference here for both our loyal customers as well as those coming to us for the first time,” said Brush. “We have some plans for improvements in 2011, and we’re dedicated to finding ways of providing the best possible guest experience.”

Christopher Guidone is joining the team as director of sales and marketing. Guidone, a former business owner focused on international tourism marketing consulting for New York state, has an extensive background in hospitality sales and marketing. He has held positions with the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau as well as the Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corp.

“The potential to expand market segments and build on an already strong base of repeat business is exciting,” said Guidone. “We want to be the hotel of choice for a wide variety of corporate-, association- and travel-related business, whether local, regional, statewide or national. We’re also a great fit for reunions and other social gatherings.”

The Atlantic Sands Hotel & Conference Center, a 178-room oceanfront property located on Baltimore Avenue in downtown Rehoboth Beach, is owned by Lankford Management. The hotel has been a landmark in Rehoboth Beach since 1953.
