Jack Lingo Realtor welcomes new agents

May 24, 2018

Jack Lingo Realtor, with offices in Rehoboth Beach, Lewes, and Millsboro, recently welcomed five new agents to the brokerage’s Lewes office.

Jamie Romano, Realtor, was raised in the Baltimore area and has always loved the coastal serenity of Sussex County. A college internship provided him the opportunity to relocate to the First State, and in 2006, he began working in home production. By 2010, his career in new home sales had motivated him to further his education, and he decided to pursue his MBA. His passion for real estate never diminished, and he is now a member of the Carrie Lingo Team. With his previous history in the homebuilding industry, his extensive financial background and his unique local knowledge, Romano prides himself on giving each client exceptional personal service.

Jessica Shomper, Realtor, grew up in York, Pa. After visiting coastal Delaware in 2008, she decided to make the area her home. Before acquiring her real estate license and joining the Carrie Lingo Team, she worked for Jack Lingo Realtor for nine years as an administrative assistant in the Rehoboth Beach office. In this position, she collaborated closely with both the sales and rental departments, and quickly gained valuable experience in multiple aspects of the real estate business. Since becoming a Realtor, Shomper has striven to make the home buying and selling processes as efficient, organized and satisfying as possible for each client.

Brooke Morrison, Realtor, was born and raised in central Pennsylvania, and grew up visiting Delaware's beaches during family vacations. She naturally developed a deep love for the area. After graduating from high school in 2016, she moved to Lewes to attend Delaware Technical Community College and work at her family’s golf course. Morrison then decided to pursue a career in real estate and officially joined the Jack Lingo Realtor Lewes Rental Department in 2017.

Samantha Broadhurst, Realtor, is a native of southern Delaware with over 300 years of family history in the Lewes and Rehoboth Beach communities. She graduated from Cape Henlopen High School, where she was a part of seven state championship sports teams. After high school, she attended the University of Delaware, where she studied economics and played club field hockey. Her love for Lewes and Rehoboth Beach derives from her rich family history, with her roots reaching back not only to the second mayor of the City of Rehoboth Beach but also to those brave mariners who spent decades piloting ships along the Delaware Bay. As a Realtor on the Carrie Lingo Team, she uses her exceptional knowledge and enthusiasm for southern Delaware to give clients the best possible experience when buying or selling their home.

Shawn McDonnell, Realtor, was born and raised in Philadelphia, and is a graduate of Rutgers University. McDonnell and his father formerly owned and operated a home restoration company, utilizing their passion for history and carpentry to serve clientele from Old New Castle to Rehoboth Beach. When his father decided to retire, McDonnell joined his wife, Merritt Cooch, as a Realtor on the Carrie Lingo Team.

Bill Lingo, broker of record at Jack Lingo Realtor, is immensely proud of his new agents. "As our brokerage continues to grow, I am proud to welcome James, Jessica, Brooke, Samantha and Shawn to Jack Lingo Realtor. Their professionalism, eagerness, and dedication to clients align perfectly with our corporate mission, and we are happy to have them on board with our company,” he said.
