James J. McCullough Sr., expert plumber

James J. McCullough Sr. 77, of Millsboro, passed away at home Friday, Sept. 30, 2016. He was born Monday, May 29, 1939, in Philadelphia, Pa., son of the late James and Catherine (Staas) McCullough.

Formerly of southwest Philly, Jim was the plumber you called. He did plumbing and anything else he could help you with. His friends called him the "Pipe." He moved to Pot Nets Seaside in Sussex County in late 1999. He enjoyed boating, crabbing, his gardens and lawn. You would never see him without his wife, Pat.

Mr. McCullough is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Patricia A. McCullough nee Gallagher; his son, James F. McCullough; his daughter, Dawn Marie MacMillan; and his grandchildren: Brianna, Michael and Nicholas.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, Oct. 22, at 11 a.m., at Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, where friends may visit beginning at 10 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. McCullough's name to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016.
