Joanne Miller Gorecki, devoted to family

Joanne Miller Gorecki, 82, of Jupiter, Fla., passed away peacefully Thursday, April 2, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 20, 1943, in Baltimore, Md., to Harry and Margaret Miller.

Joanne was the devoted wife of the late Casimir John Gorecki Jr. She was the loving mother and mother-in-law to her son, Casimir John Gorecki III and his wife Susie, and her daughter, Lauren Margaret Jones and her husband Scott. She was the cherished grandmother of Andrew Gorecki and his wife Allie, Ally Hubric and her husband Will, Adam Gorecki, and Claire Jones. Joanne was also the proud great-grandmother of Wren Gorecki. She is further survived by her beloved dog, Buddy.

A woman of strength, compassion and independence, Joanne taught her children and grandchildren the value of kindness, consideration for others, generosity and love.

In addition to spending time with her family, Joanne enjoyed traveling, playing mahjong and cards with her friends, and watching the Game Show Network. Her guidance and unwavering devotion to her family will be remembered always.

Joanne will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
