Kyle B. King, had strong work ethic

Kyle B. King, 32, of Millsboro passed away unexpectedly Friday, Oct. 25, 2019, at his home.

He was born in Milford Dec. 23, 1986, son of Glenn Hall King Jr. and Brenda I. (Weigand) King.  Kyle was a graduate of Cape Henlopen High School class of 2005 and also attended Delaware Technical Community College in Georgetown, where he received an associate degree in agribusiness.  

While he was in high school, he made all-state in wrestling both his junior and senior years.  Kyle had a strong work ethic when he had worked for Big Boulder Pond Company in Milton, and recently started a new career with Imagination Renovation in Dagsboro.

Kyle had lived in Austin, Texas, for about five years before moving back to Delaware.  He loved his time in Texas and was also a huge Cowboys fan.  Kyle’s life also revolved around music as he was in several different bands over the years playing the bass guitar.  

He is survived by his parents, Glenn and Brenda King of Millsboro; a brother, Matt King of Jacksonville, Fla.; and a sister, Holly King of Phoenixville, Pa.  He is also survived by a maternal grandmother, Jean Weigand of Newport, and paternal grandparents Glenn and Elizabeth King Sr. of Wilmington; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins too numerous to mention.  

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m., Friday, Nov. 1, at the Long Neck Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 32013 Long Neck Road, Millsboro, where friends and family may call after 5 p.m.
