The Lewes Public Library will offer free programs to assist teens with SAT and college preparation in February and March at the library, 111 Adams Ave., Lewes.
To help patrons explore the wide range of college prep resources available through the Delaware Library catalog and online platforms, Jennifer Noonan, director of youth services, will present an informational session at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 25. The program will highlight free practice tests and online tools offered through Learning Express and Universal Class, as well as materials available for checkout, including SAT study guides, college essay primers and scholarship guides.
SAT boot camp prep sessions, led by Sylvan Learning Center, will be offered twice, at 5 p.m., Monday, March 2, and 5 p.m., Monday, March 9. These are repeat sessions; students should attend only one. Participants in these high-impact practice sessions will build confidence and boost scores through focused instruction in math, reading and writing, and review of proven test-taking strategies.
