Linda Ann White, Cape Artist

Linda Ann White, loving wife, artist and member of the Cape Artists in Lewes, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2020.  Her health suddenly declined after a long illness with stage 4 lung cancer and recently she was battling with COPD.

She was born Aug. 25, 1949, at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla.

Linda is survived by her husband and companion of over 54 years, Lewis A.  “Butch” White Jr.; a stepson, Jim White and wife Jeanne Marie; a stepdaughter, Patricia Ann White Grandstaff and her husband Bill; a sister of Jim and Patricia, Denice Huber; a special niece that Linda and Butch helped raise, Donna Lee Shaffer and husband Lawrence; four grandchildren, Jason White and wife Gina, Jessica Cline and husband Chris, Justin Grandstaff and James Grandstaff; three great-grandchildren, Ashley Cline, Jackson White and Ella White; three sisters, Judy Moffett, Carol Trask, and Eileen Ryan and husband Tommy; one brother, Timmy Urban; two nieces, Christy Roth and Hope Wunner; and nephew, T. J. Ryan. Also surviving is her biological father, Richard Eugene Moffett and his wife Beth; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Emily Urban, who passed away Mary 26, 1996, and her stepfather, Joe Urban, who passed away Aug. 1, 1997.

Linda will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
