On Saturday, Feb, 5, 2021, Marilyn Marshall, loving wife and mother, passed away at the age of 79. Marilyn was born Feb. 4, 1943, and raised in St. Louis, Mo. She married her high school sweetheart in 1964 and they remained together for 58 years.
Marilyn and Bob moved to Pittsburgh, Pa., in 1964 where she gave birth to her three children. After 10 years they moved to Rehoboth Beach and raised their family. She helped operate several hotels in the resort area. They became snowbirds, living in several towns in Florida during the winter months, finally, becoming full time residents of The Villages, Fla.
She enjoyed traveling, especially cruises, spending time at the beach and animals of all types. She loved bears and amassed an extensive collection of bears - carved, crystal, art, and of course, stuffed. Marilyn was a kind and loving friend to many as well as a loving wife and mother.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Virginia. She is survived by her husband, Robert Marshall; her children Michelle (David), Beth and Rob (Kathy); her grandchildren Trent, Claire, Kyra and Ashling; and her sister Carol and husband Don.
