Mark F. McCandless, Pot-Nets security guard
Mark F. McCandless died suddenly Monday, Feb. 8, 2016, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes.
Born in 1973, he was formerly from Glenolden, Pa. He was employed by Tunnell Companies working as a security officer for Pot-Nets Security, Long Neck.
Mark graduated from Interboro High School in 1973. He attended DCCC and Penn State. Mark worked for Crompco, an oil and gas testing facility in Montgomery County and the Sun Oil Company in Marcus Hook, Pa. Prior to moving to Delaware, he completed a computer security course at ITT-Tech.
He is survived by his mother, Judy Walz McCandless of Long Neck (Eddie Kosteski); father Paul McCandless of Florida, formerly of Norwood, Pa.; two sisters, Kathleen McCandless (Mickey) of Ridley Park, Pa. and Christine Anderson (Blaine) of Johnstown, Pa.; also numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, plus many close friends including his fellow officers.
Services were held Monday, Feb. 15.
Donations in his memory to the ASPCA of your choice as his love of animals is well-known, or Tunnell Cancer Center, Rehoboth Beach, would be welcomed.
