Miriam’s Table fundraiser set Oct. 20 at Bethel UMC

Susie Keefer founded Miriam's Table after visiting the Congo in 2010 and seeing the area children’s great need for food and medical care. Keefer will talk about her experiences during this summer’s trip to the Democratic Republic of Congo at 5:30 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 20, at Bethel United Methodist Church, 129 W. 4th St., Lewes. Complimentary pizza, salad and dessert will be served prior to the presentation by Susie and Miriam Keefer, who was adopted by Susie and her husband Ed in 2013.

A love offering will be taken to support the ongoing work of Miriam’s Table to provide nutrition and medical care for the Congolese children.
