October 18, 2018

Dynamo is a Nashville-based, nationally touring band whose music fuses jazz, rock and funk with elements of soul and R&B. The culmination is a sound that’s both spontaneous and composed – and an energy that’s undeniably infectious. The group is set to return to the historic Milton Theatre at 8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 26.

Formed in late 2012, Dynamo consists of nine core musicians. When they’re not performing or recording in Nashville, the band is on the road, spreading its unique brand of feel-good music to audiences all over the world.

Group members include Kevin Gatzke on tenor sax; Andrew Golden on trumpet; Joshua Blaylock on keyboard and trombone; pianist and composer Ryan Connors; John Murphy, Hank Born and Adam McPhail on guitar; Zach Witcher on bass; Ross McReynolds and Nathan Felty on drums and percussion; and Dain Ussery, vocals. Together, they won 2015’s Nashville Industry Music Award for Best Reggae/Funk/Fusion Band and Album of the Year.

Tickets are $15 to $20. For more information or to purchase tickets, go to www.MiltonTheatre.com or call 302-684-3038.
