No fireworks in Rehoboth; lots of face masks

COVID-19 caused cancellation of annual July 4 celebration

Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971
United States

For the first time in years, there are no July 4 fireworks in Rehoboth Beach this year because of COVID-19. Warm weather and clear skies brought people to the beach, but traffic was noticeably light. The majority of people on the Boardwalk and sidewalks were wearing masks, but there was limited use on the beach.
