The Peninsula Golf & Country Club in Millsboro recently hosted a fundraiser to benefit humanitarian relief efforts for the people of Ukraine. In all, 244 people attended the event, raising funds through raffle prizes, 50/50 and items auctioned. The buffet served consisted Ukrainian dishes such as borscht, pirogies, chicken Kyiv and Ukrainian cheesecake. The final total raised at the end of the night was $25,750 with the proceeds going to UNICEF and Ukrainian Red Cross.
