Rehoboth Christmas parade brings holiday cheer

Nearly 100 community fire departments, organizations, businesses participate in annual event

Following the tree-lighting Nov. 29, Rehoboth Beach continued the holiday fun Dec. 3 with the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company’s annual Rehoboth Beach Hometown Christmas Parade. More than 100 fire departments, civic organizations and businesses participated in the parade. Immediately following the parade, in the Rehoboth Beach Convention Hall, hot chocolate and cookies were served while children visited Santa and trophies were awarded.
