A Repurposed Railroad Car in Rehoboth Beach in 1922

This picture postcard, postmarked 1922, shows a repurposed railroad car set up as a cottage on the sand in the pines of Rehoboth Beach. The resort was working its way toward adolescence at that point, and tourists stayed in a wide variety of accommodations to enjoy their stays at the beach.
