Revival House to present Batman Fest Aug. 26
Revival House will host Batman Fest, an extraordinary event honoring the iconic Dark Knight, starting at 6 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 26, at Hudson Fields near Milton.
A cinematic celebration of the Caped Crusader, the event will bring together Batman enthusiasts of all ages for a night filled with live music, delectable dishes from local food trucks, games for the whole family and a thrilling costume contest, all culminating with an outdoor screening of the iconic 1989 Tim Burton “Batman” film.
Following the resounding success of last year's Star Wars Fest, as well as Jurassic Fest and Jaws Fest, Revival House is once again poised to create an unforgettable experience for fans and families alike. Batman Fest promises an evening brimming with excitement, nostalgia and community spirit.
Gates will open at 6 p.m., allowing attendees ample time to explore the festival grounds and indulge in an array of delicacies from the finest local food trucks. From gourmet sandwiches to freshly popped popcorn, there will be something to satisfy every palate.
A variety of craft beers will be served on-site from Revelation Brewery, one of the evening’s sponsors.
Attendees will be treated to live music, and arts and crafts from a host of local artisans, with games and face painting to entertain both children and adults alike for a superhero-sized evening.
The Batman character costume contest is expected to be an event highlight. Fans are encouraged to showcase their creativity by dressing up as their favorite characters from the legendary series, with prizes awaiting those who capture the essence of DC’s most iconic creation. Whether it's the ‘60s-era Adam West Batman, the enigmatic Catwoman, the menacing Joker or Harley Quinn, participants are invited to unleash their inner superhero or supervillain.
As the sun sets, attendees will be invited to settle in for a memorable open-air screening of the legendary 1989 Tim Burton “Batman” film on an oversized outdoor screen, surrounded by the atmosphere of Hudson Fields.
The Revival House team is proud to support the local community and the noble endeavors of Beebe Medical Foundation. All money collected at the gate will be donated to the organization, furthering its invaluable work and commitment to enhancing healthcare services and improving the lives of individuals in need.
Admission is free, and donations are happily accepted at the door.
