Rogers understands how state government works

August 31, 2012

In Sussex County, the people keep their eyes on politicians and I am one of them.

When it comes to stepping up and letting the public get in his face, Lynn Rogers has proved he listens and works for the people he represents. Sitting in the audience, I have seen firsthand some very sensitive public hearings where Lynn Rogers faced his public, gave his opinion, stated the facts and made the decision based on the law and what was right for Sussex County's future.

I want Lynn Rogers as my state representative because he understands how state government works, knows who to contact to get things done and follows up with you to make sure your concern was handled.

In today's times, I don't want someone in Dover who just gives lip service and goes with the flow. I want someone who has a proven 40-year record of community service. There are going to be some very tough decisions that will need to be made in the next few years, and I want someone who I believe will make the right decisions for Sussex County and the State of Delaware.

My household is supporting Lynn Rogers as the 20th District Representative in the Tuesday, Sept. 11 primary election.
