Rotary bestows scholarships on School of Nursing students

The Rotary Club of Lewes-Rehoboth Beach recently presented scholarships for students pursuing their nursing education and working toward becoming registered nurses.
The Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing at Beebe Healthcare announced that Gracie Brewster of Selbyville and Catharine Cardellino of Milton are the recipients of the Lewes-Rehoboth Beach Rotary Club District Grant. The goal of the scholarship is to encourage students to remain in the local area due to a shortage of nurses in the medical profession. It is funded by a one-time district grant. In addition to meeting criteria for the grant and writing an essay, the applicants were interviewed by Rotary members.
