The Mary Martha Circle of Bethel United Methodist Church held its annual cookie walk Dec. 7. The Bethel Men’s group also was selling greenery. More than 63 yards of tabletop held 490 pounds of cookies that were joyfully laid out on tables before the doors opened at 9 a.m. By 9:30, more than half were boxed up, weighed and paid for, and on their way to local cookie monsters to devour.
