Schell Brothers lights up Children’s Beach House

December 19, 2020

Thanks to the efforts of Schell Brothers, the Children’s Beach House in Lewes was not left out of the Lewes Lights celebration. Company staff took some of the unused items from Schellville and added a host of Christmas lights to create a wonderland for children and those young at heart.

Volunteers gathered this past weekend to collect donations and to offer hot dogs, hot chocolate, cookies and stuffed animals to children who visited the display.

A major fundraiser for the Beach House was canceled due to restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Staff and volunteers had planned a three-event Winter Wonderland, which included a Winter White gala, Santa’s Workshop and Happy Hour with the Boy Band Project.

Children’s Beach House, founded in 1937, helps children with special needs reach their highest potential as functioning members of their families and communities. Go to cbhinc.org for more information.
