The Southern Delaware Orchestra delivered a captivating performance Aug. 11 titled Out of this World – Summer Concerts from Strauss to Star Wars, at Cape Henlopen High School, drawing a nearly full house of music fans. The afternoon showcased a mix of classical pieces and modern movie compositions, led by music director James Allen Anderson.
The orchestra’s performance at Cape Henlopen High School was not just a concert but a celebration of community, culture and the enduring power of live music.

Sigrid Evers, 17, has been playing with SODELO since 2022, when it began.

Almost every seat was occupied during the show.
