Southern Delaware Therapeutic Riding held its Seventh Annual Barn Dance Oct. 14 at the organization’s facility in Harbeson. Guests enjoyed a barbecue dinner, bourbon-tasting station, line dancing, music by the Mason Dixon Band, mechanical bull riding, live and silent auctions, and a 50/50 raffle.
Organizers said the event was attended by 250 guests and raised $64,000 for the nonprofit, which works to improve the physical and emotional well-being of children and adults living with disabilities through equine-assisted therapy in a supportive environment for riders and families.
