Southern Delaware Tourism photo entries due March 15
Locals and visitors are invited and encouraged to enter Southern Delaware Tourism’s 3rd Annual Photo Contest.
Entries will be accepted until 5 p.m., Friday, March 15, and winners will be announced Friday, March 29. There will be a grand prize winner and a winner in each of three categories.
Enjoying Outdoor Adventures: There are so many active ways to enjoy the outdoors in Southern Delaware from water sports like kayaking, windsurfing, and standup paddle boarding to boating, hiking, bicycling, fishing, skydiving, birding, running and more. Photos must contain at least one person to be eligible.
Enjoying Scenic Southern Delaware: From beach bonfires to gorgeous sunrise, this area is among the most scenic and photogenic locations in the Mid-Atlantic – or anywhere. Photos must contain at least one person to be eligible.
Southern Delaware Downtowns are chock full of charming, historic, picturesque business districts in thriving, friendly communities with bustling main streets, fascinating architecture and vibrant businesses. Enter Sussex County downtowns only. Include location information with each entry.
Photo winners will be selected by acclaimed photographer and publisher Kevin Fleming. All eligible photo entries will be uploaded by Southern Delaware Tourism to the Southern Delaware Tourism Instagram feed, @VisitSouthDel.
Grand prize is a two-night stay at Bethany Beach Ocean Suites.
The three category prizes are a $50 gift certificate for Delmarva Board Sport Adventures; an annual pass to Delaware State Parks; and a $50 gift certificate for use at any SoDel Concepts restaurant.
