Statera Homes breaks ground on model in Lewes

Statera Homes has broken ground on a model home in the Lewes-area subdivision Maritima. “We’re more than a year behind schedule, but the site is finally starting to look like a community,” says Scott Dailey, owner of Statera Homes.

Maritima, a 28-lot subdivision located very close to the intersection of Robinsonville Road and Plantation Road, was approved in 2016. The small community has faced numerous challenges since receiving approval. It is the only Lewes-area, new-home community offered by a small, local builder.

“Statera Homes is a much smaller builder than any of the other builders in this location. We take the time to help people design around their lives.” says Dailey, “Our process is more geared for discerning people. A Statera Home isn’t for everyone.”

The model in Maritima will be a modern farmhouse-style two-story home with a first-floor owner’s suite. “The plan isn’t like anything you’ll find from a large production builder,” says Dailey.

With just 28 lots, Maritima is a unique subdivision for the booming Lewes market. It is also one of the closest new-home communities to Lewes and Route One.

“The location is truly the amenity,” says Dailey.  “For someone that wants to pay for an expensive clubhouse, this is not the location.” Maritima features lots that are 7,500 square feet. The lots have central water and sewer, and basements are an option.

“For people who take an interest in how their home is built and want to be close to everything, Statera at Maritima is a great option,” says Dailey.
