An outdoor three-hour Nerf gun battle pitted survivors and doctors against zombies on April 2 in the woods of Screams at the Beach – a Halloween event – at Sports at the Beach in Georgetown. Nerf wars have become one of the most popular events of the expanded schedule at The Indoor Academy in Georgetown, said Brian Turner, director of the activities facility that offers 20 sports and fitness programs. During Nerfpocalypse, survivors also found clues to make a cure for the zombie virus as zombies tried to eliminate the humans before they could succeed.
