Tidemark FCU collects warm winter items for Code Purple

February 9, 2020

To help local individuals in need this winter, Tidemark Federal Credit Union held a warm hands and heart drive during the month of January.

Tidemark FCU staff and members brought in coats, hats, scarves and gloves that were donated to Code Purple in Seaford.

Code Purple’s mission is to offer shelter to those with no home by utilizing local churches, their sanctuaries, time, talent and support to save lives during cold weather in Sussex County and to offer hope for a future to struggling neighbors.

Code Purple’s mission mirrors the Credit Union mission of People Helping People.

“We’re proud to help Code Purple in their efforts to support local people in need,” said Pam Fleuette, CEO, Tidemark FCU. “Simply going through our closets and pulling out those old coats we just don’t wear anymore, or purchasing gloves, scarves and hats is an easy way to give back.”
