Unico classical concert to benefit cancer research Sept. 28

UNICO Delaware and Rehoboth Area will present Una Serata Di Musica Classica, an evening of classical music to support cancer research and local charities, at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 28, at St. Edmond Church in Rehoboth Beach.

Part of the Opera at the Beach Series, the concert will again feature renowned mezzo soprano Andrea Arena for her fifth UNICO-sponsored performance; tenor Dante Fiore, who has performed leading roles in world and U.S. premieres; and accomplished pianist and musician Matthew Jewell, who brings years of experience to the keyboards.

Proceeds will be donated to cancer research and prevention, a division of Unico National Foundation and local charities.

Local businesses and organizations are encouraged to support this project with a sponsorship of $500, which will include 10 tickets to the event, reserved seating in the church and listings in publicity materials and the concert program.

Tickets for the concert only are $25; a combination concert and reception ticket is $50.
