Unrivaled Space at Sea cruise info session set Feb. 25

February 17, 2021

Even with the continued shutdown of travel, consumer confidence in cruising is on the rise.

As a sign of the times, Accent on Travel cruise specialist Linda Ganakis called her cruise line sales department connections to seek a cabin on a sold-out 2023 world cruise for her clients. What is making the difference in what ships are selling out and what ships may be sold off? Accent on Travel owner Annette Stellhorn will share that insight and more with the public Thursday, Feb. 25, during Accent on Travel’s live virtual event, Unrivaled Space at Sea.

Cruise lines that have small ships such as Regent Seven Seas, Oceania Cruises, Silversea, Hurtigruten, American Cruise Lines, Viking Cruise Lines and others are exceeding their monthly sales targets for 2021. But other cruise lines are struggling. Stellhorn said, “People are gravitating to smaller crowds in their daily life and on vacation. And there are just so many ships that offer that experience. I am concerned we will sell out of the preferred vacation experiences sooner rather than later.”

During the Unrivaled Space at Sea event, Stellhorn will be interviewing 294+ night cruisers for their take on what their perception of ‘personal space at sea’ means and share insights from her 940 cruise nights over the past 32 years, while giving the floor to award-winning Regent Seven Seas Sales Manager Kate Otto. Otto will share slides of Regent’s Unrivaled Space at Sea to give viewers an idea of how a luxury cruise line will be treating guests once sailing begins.

Stellhorn said, “While vaccines are being distributed around the world and countries are reviewing entry requirements, savvy travelers and cruisers are reviewing the best options for their future travel investments. The Accent on Travel team is meeting with those interested in their professional vacation assistance via Zoom meetings, by phone, or at their offices in Rehoboth, Wilmington, and Towson, Md., with appropriate pandemic precautions in place.”

Accent on Travel invites the public to join the event from a computer in the comfort of  home, at 5 p.m., Thursday, Feb 25. The event is complimentary, but registration is required via Zoom.
